Au Petit Restaurant in Ettenheim

Found by chance via Google Maps, because nothing really appealed to us in the vicinity of our hotel when passing through, we really enjoyed dinner at the Petit Restaurant: A cozy restaurant, friendly service and very tasty dishes. Just annoying: No credit cards are accepted, only the EC card, which can only be used in Germany, apart from cash payments.

At the end of August we were in Ettenheim for a few days and spontaneously ate in the Au Petit Restaurant. Despite a small menu, it was difficult for us to make a selection. That is why we gladly took advantage of the offer to first eat a small portion as a starter and then a main course. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients of very good quality and we really liked it. The owners were very friendly, we felt really comfortable. We are happy to try other dishes on another visit.

I passed there with my cycling troop. The soup I ate there was great. The boss is super responsive to the guests.!

The food was good and you have a nice seat in the old town of Ettenheim.

Delicious food and charming service in a small, cozy restaurant

Super nice restaurant in Baroque city of Ettenheim. Friendly, personal and helpful service by the owners, listening to special wishes (I wanted my salmon less cooked - perfectly executed!). We had oven baked salmon and rice salad a la Nicoise both so good! Followed by an espresso gourmand which basically let me melt .... 5 stars !!! - - - Super nice restaurant in the baroque town of Ettenheim. Friendly and personal service that also caters to special requests (I wanted my salmon to be a little glassy - perfect!). We had salmon baked in the oven and rice salad a la Nicoise, both very tasty! That followed by an espresso gourmand that made me melt ... 5 stars !!!

A very tasty meal and friendly service. Even the menu was explained in a personal, understandable and very detailed manner.

Leaving to enjoy Europa Park, we noticed this pretty place. We came back out of the blue and luckily there were two places left. We were well received by the staff as well as the Chef. We really enjoyed ourselves after translating (not speaking German!) The menu of the day (evening), yum for the little crunchy goat cheese and walnuts See you soon !

We just wanted to have a glass of wine and decided to have dinner. That was the best decision! Was incredibly good .....

Very nice service and overall a very good concept and ambience. We had a hull steak, a salad with baked goat cheese and two pieces of apple pie. All of it was really good and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks, keep it up 😄

Fresh dishes, perfectly prepared and really conjured up for the palate, excellent wines and all that garnished with a nice atmosphere and unobtrusive, very attentive service. Here you feel like eating again! Keep it up !

01/10/2020 I think that you can recognize the good place by the "quiet place"! This is very well maintained at the Au Petit restaurant. There were four of us eating today, everything was at its best. Service, menu, cuisine, price, all the way to dessert, everything was very good. We really liked it. I can only recommend! Thanks to the team

I went to Au Petit for dinner last night with friends. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, the tables are lovingly set. A friendly welcome, very good service and advice. The food was fantastic and a feast for the palate. The wines are excellent. The light in the restaurant dims but not too dark, just a nice atmosphere. I have to praise how great the service is, the hosts very friendly and courteous. The food is really the best! The petit is a very big asset for Ettenheim. A restaurant for nice cozy hours without stress and no handling like in other restaurants. Highly recommended, we will be back! Greetings from the neighbor.

Nice little restaurant for a little lunch but also for a dinner for two. Located in the historical town center of Ettenheim close to the pittoresk cathedral and town hall. There is always a salad and a vegetarian option available. Good value for money and friendly and efficient service. There are a small selection of local white wines and a few red wines available.

Faithful customer since the opening of the Petit Restaurant in May 2019, it is always a pleasure to come back! Home top and succulent cuisine ... Not to mention the terrace where you can enjoy the dishes next to a pretty fountain, zen atmosphere assured :-) To discover absolutely, I recommend!

This restaurant is really the nice discovery of this summer !! Tastefully decorated and beautiful setting, when in the kitchen, excellent salads presented in beautiful plates .Bravo to the chef and the team we will return!
